Arrangement: Commission-based structure with clear Service Level Agreements (SLAs) regarding delivery timeframes and client handling.
We are seeking dedicated Freelance Solicitors and Small Law Firms to partner with us. Through this strategic delegation model, VMD secures instructions from our vast, nationwide client base and passes the casework to our approved partners.
More than just a freelance gig: As we expand into a major, multi-partner firm, this initial collaboration serves as a direct pathway for ambitious individuals and small firms to integrate into our core structure and become future equity/designated partners in the expanded firm.
Areas of Collaboration
We are actively looking to delegate casework to specialists across the following key practice areas:
- Civil Disputes
- Employment
- Medical Negligence
- Family Law
- Commercial Property
- Criminal Law
- Intellectual Property (IP)
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive, expert legal advice to delegated clients within your specialist field.
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, contracts, and pleadings with precision.
- Represent clients confidently in negotiations, mediations, and court/tribunal proceedings.
- Manage case files diligently, maintaining meticulously organised records of all client interactions.
- Collaborate closely with clients to develop strategic approaches tailored to their specific needs.
- Ensure absolute compliance with SRA standards, legal regulations, and ethical guidelines at all times.
Requirements (Strict Criteria)
- Must be a Qualified Solicitor with a valid, active practising certificate recognised in England & Wales.
- Must be an SRA-regulated firm or an independent Solicitor with a valid SRA practising licence.
- Proven, demonstrable experience handling cases independently within one or more of our targeted practice areas.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in British English.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with an interest in a future long-term firm partnership.
- Please note: We are explicitly looking for fully qualified, regulated professionals. Trainees and non-qualified legal professionals will not be considered.
