We are excited to offer an opportunity for a highly motivated Occupational Therapist to join the Cardiac, Critical Care and Surgery team at the Northern General Hospital.
Our skilful and compassionate team provides therapy across a range of acute inpatient services including General and Vascular Surgery, Cardiothoracics and Cardiology. They offer assessments and interventions for patients undergoing elective or emergency surgery, post trauma or during conservative management of long-term conditions.
Working closely with a range of therapy staff and the MDT, this post provides the opportunity to learn, teach and contribute to high quality care and ongoing service improvement.
Are you an Occupational Therapist with?
Post graduate experience including acute in-patients.
Clinical reasoning and processing skills, including functional assessment and discharge planning to enable you to manage a complex caseload.
Excellent communication and team working skills across the MDT.
A passion for improving patient outcomes and contributing to the ongoing development of the Occupational Therapy service of the future.
Experience in demonstrating behaviours that align with our PROUD values.
