Don't just take our word for it...
“I was very sceptical about leaving my old job but I’m so I glad I took the leap and applied for my position at Apollo. Best thing I ever did, I get to spend more time with my children and watch them grow. Everyone is so friendly and easy to approach if you have a problem.”
About This Role
Our client is a bright and engaging young girl who enjoys spending time with those around her. She loves music, sensory activities, and watching her favourite TV programmes, and is currently learning Makaton to support her communication.
Although non-verbal, she is very expressive, using eye contact, facial expressions, and vocalisations to communicate her needs and emotions.
We are seeking patient, caring Healthcare Assistants who can build trust at her pace and provide consistent, compassionate support.
Due to her complex care needs, she requires waking night support from confident carers who can deliver clinical care while ensuring her safety, comfort, and wellbeing at all times.
Working closely with her family, you will help maintain her routines, monitor her needs, and provide reassurance throughout the night in the comfort of her own home.
Please note: Due to the nature of our vacancies, our clients have the right to request either female or male staff.
Our client has requested female carers to join their team.
Clinical Experience
Previous experience supporting children or young people with complex healthcare needs is desirable. Where required, specialist clinical training will be provided by our highly skilled, in house nursing team.
Essential Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must:
- Have a minimum of 3 months' paid experience working in a professional care setting within the UK.
- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Be committed to delivering safe, compassionate and child-centred care.
- Be willing to complete client-specific, clinical training where required.
We do not hold a sponsorship licence and are therefore unable to consider applicants requiring sponsorship.
