Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards. Your expertise will help keep our projects running smoothly and safely.
We are looking for a level 3 electrician or someone currently finishing their level 3 with experience. Pay can be discussed and will be based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment using hand tools and power tools
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications
- Conduct inspections of electrical systems to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and inspections completed
- Collaborate with team members and project managers to complete tasks efficiently and safely
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents or hazards on-site
- Assist in upgrading or modifying existing electrical systems as needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with electrical systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for electrical work
- Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Valid electrician’s license or certification as required by local regulations is preferred but not mandatory
- Electrical experience in troubleshooting, installation, or maintenance roles is highly valued
Pay: £25,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
Ability to commute/relocate:
- East Grinstead RH19 2BP: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (required)
