Orchard House Family Assessment and Intervention Centre is seeking a highly organised, friendly and professional Family Services Administrator to support our multidisciplinary team. This pivotal role combines front-of-house reception, administrative coordination, and hands-on support for babies and young children in a safeguarding-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a professional and welcoming reception service for families, visitors and professionals
- Various administrative duties
- Manage calendars, files and family planners
- Facilities support
- Assist with childcare for babies and young children
- Liaise with internal teams and external agencies
- Uphold GDPR, health & safety, and safeguarding standards
- Support the efficient day-to-day operation of the service
This is a full time (0900-1700) office based role in Taunton.
About You
We are looking for a proactive and adaptable individual who can remain calm and professional in a busy environment.
You will have:
- Previous administration experience, ideally within a related setting
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good IT skills and confidence using a range of systems and technology
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work independently
- A professional, discreet and compassionate approach
- Resilience and the ability to respond positively to changing demands
