Fullers Family Law is seeking an experienced Professional Services Receptionist to become the first point of contact for our clients, and visitors in our Milton Keynes office
This is far more than a traditional reception role. Our clients are often navigating significant life events and rely on us to provide a professional, organised and reassuring experience from their very first interaction with the firm. What You'll Be Doing
As our Receptionist, you'll play a central role in the smooth running of the office and the experience of everyone who walks through our doors.
You'll be responsible for:
Providing a professional, welcoming and reassuring front-of-house experience to clients and visitors.
Managing a busy switchboard and responding to enquiries efficiently and professionally.
Preparing and maintaining the meeting room to a high standard.
Supporting office organisation, supplies and general administration.
Ensuring reception and client areas remain professional, well-presented and welcoming.
Handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Being a calm, reassuring presence in a fast‑paced, people‑focused environment
What We're Looking For
Essential
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
Previous receptionist, front-of-house or client services experience within a legal, accountancy, financial services, consultancy or other professional services environment.
Experience managing a busy switchboard and handling client enquiries.
Excellent communication skills, both in person and over the telephone.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
A professional, confident and approachable manner.
The ability to remain calm and organised when managing multiple priorities.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and digital systems.
Desirable
It would be advantageous if you also have:
Experience within a legal environment.
Knowledge of case management systems.
Experience supporting senior professionals or fee earners.
