We’re looking for a friendly, reliable and skilled cook to join our busy kitchen on a permanent part‑time basis (approx. 20–25 hours per week). This is a great opportunity for someone who loves creating hearty, homemade dishes and enjoys working in a warm, family‑run environment.
About Us
The Welcome Home Inn is a family‑run pub in the heart of Par, known for our welcoming atmosphere. We take pride in serving proper pub meals made with care, consistency and attention to detail.
What We’re Looking For
- Food Hygiene Level 2 (minimum)
- Allergen Awareness training
- Experience in a pub or similar kitchen environment
- A positive, can‑do attitude and ability to work well with a small team as well as under their own initiative.
- Someone who takes pride in producing quality, home‑cooked dishes
- Reliability, good communication and strong organisation during service
Hours & Role
- Permanent part‑time position
- Roughly 20–25 hours per week
- Mix of daytime, evening and weekend shifts
- Preparing and cooking menu items to a high standard
- Maintaining excellent hygiene, safety and allergen practices
- Supporting the family team to keep our food reputation strong
