Position Overview: To support our growth, we are seeking a multitrader with a good plumbing background to perform general housing repairs, address snags, and have a solid knowledge of the building trade in general.
This role is pivotal in ensuring that our operations are run smoothly and efficiently, balancing technical proficiency with strong organisational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Tradesman Duties:
- Perform high-quality trade work in various trades, ensuring all tasks meet company standards and client expectations.
- Diagnose issues, provide solutions, and execute repairs, installations, or maintenance tasks.
- Maintain excellent client / resident / stakeholder communication, providing clear and regular updates from end-to-end on a job.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies on all job sites.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces in good condition.
- Travel is required across south-east England and London
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a plumber and able to install, repair, and maintain water and central heating systems, while ensuring compliance with safety and building regulations.
- Experience in other trades such as decorating, flooring, electrics, and general repairs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong English language and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A self starter, able to work independently and as part of a team.
- A valid and clean UK driving licence and the ability to travel between sites.
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience as a plumber or heating engineer.
- Familiarity with other trades and industry regulations and standards.
