Job Responsibilities:
- Support clients through Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus certification, from initial scoping and readiness assessment through to submission and remediation guidance.
- Carry out gap analysis against the IASME requirements for IT infrastructure, document findings clearly and help clients close out non-compliances.
- Assist with the deployment, configuration and ongoing tuning of security tooling, including EDR and MDR platforms, application control and Zero Trust solutions.
- Help onboard clients onto our security stack, validating policy, alerting and reporting are working as intended.
- Triage and respond to security alerts and tickets, escalating where appropriate and keeping clients informed throughout.
- Produce clear, professional documentation including assessment reports, remediation plans and client-facing guidance.
- Maintain accurate records within our ticketing and documentation systems, keeping client-specific information current.
- Complete all work to a high standard, adhering to agreed SLAs and ensuring a positive client experience.
- Communicate effectively by telephone and email, ensuring prompt and professional contact at all times.

Qualifications:
- A degree (or equivalent) in cyber security, computer science or a related technical subject is desirable, though equivalent practical experience or certifications will also be considered.
- A genuine interest in cyber security and a willingness to learn and develop.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical matters to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and independently meet targets.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and common security tooling is not essential but will help significantly.
