About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Sales Account Manager to grow and develop our presence across the educational and blue lights sectors in the London and South of England.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role requiring a proactive and resilient individual with a passion for building relationships and delivering results. You will take full ownership of your region, driving both existing account growth and new business development.
At Origin, we don’t just sell equipment — we partner with our customers to create inspiring fitness spaces. You’ll play a key role in bringing this to life by understanding each client’s vision and delivering tailored, high-quality solutions.
A background or strong passion for fitness is highly beneficial, as is a genuine interest in industry trends and facility design. The role involves regular travel across London and the South.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Drive Performance & Accountability
- Achieve and exceed weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets
- Take ownership of your pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and progression
- Consistently use Salesforce CRM to manage activity and customer relationships
Deliver Your Personal Best
- Continuously develop your knowledge of the fitness industry, products, and design trends
- Produce high-quality, tailored proposals based on deep customer understanding
- Regularly review performance and identify opportunities to improve and grow
Build Partnerships Through Teamwork
- Develop strong, long-term customer relationships that position Origin as a trusted partner
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience
- Contribute to a positive team culture, sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues
Grow the Region
- Proactively identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities
- Implement a clear regional strategy across both new and existing accounts
- Monitor competitor activity to maintain Origin’s market-leading position
Customer Engagement
- Meet customers face-to-face 3–4 days per week to build relationships and drive opportunities
- Deliver engaging presentations and solutions tailored to each client
What We’re Looking For
Skills & Experience
- Proven success in sales or business development, achieving or exceeding targets
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to build strategic plans
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven mindset
- Ability to take ownership and deliver with accountability
- Strong IT skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Experience in proactive outbound business development (phone, email, social)
Personal Qualities

- Passion for fitness, sport, or wellbeing (highly desirable)
Desirable
- Experience with an ERP system, ideally Business Central
- Background in the fitness or commercial equipment sector
- CAD or facility design tools (e.g., AutoSketch, EC Design)

Salary & Package
£30,000 – £37,500 (depending on experience)
- Commission + Car Allowance + Mobile + Laptop
- OTE:
- £45,000 – £65,000 (depending on start date)
Pay: £30,000.00-£37,500.00 per year
Experience:
- Field sales: 1 year (preferred)
- Sales: 1 year (preferred)
- Fitness: 1 year (preferred)
