The resident community of Salesian priests and brothers at Salesian House, Chertsey are looking for a Cleaner/Housekeeper who is passionate about keeping a home clean, tidy and welcoming and is able to meet high standards of hospitality and cleanliness at all times.
Working as part of a small team you will be responsible for cleaning all designated areas and incorporating schedules for regular deep cleaning. General housekeeping duties will include changing beds; cleaning rooms, corridors, bathrooms, communal areas and offices; vacuuming and dusting; laundry and ironing.
You will be responsible for providing very high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the house so that it is a welcoming and pleasant environment for residents and guests.
You must be able to work on your own initiative, be reliable and trustworthy. You will be well presented and have a friendly nature.
Pension scheme, 6.6 weeks’ holiday (pro rata), flexible hours, uniform and training provided
