Squeaky Clean Cornwall are a local, family business with a team of excellent people. We provide a quality cleaning service to commercial properties (offices etc.), holiday lets, private homes, end of build cleans and end of tenancies/deep cleans. As we all as this we have also had an exciting expansion on our laundry services recently and we now offer domestic and commercial based laundry and linen hire services to the area. We believe in our team and dedicate our time into their training and self development.

The Role:
This is a varied role and no two days are the same! Your day to day will include team training, completing checks on jobs that the team have cleaned, administration work, overseeing our laundry unit, and involvement of various types of cleans from office cleans to sparkle cleans on a newly built property, and everything in-between, including; holiday let changeovers, deep cleans, end of tenancies, oven cleans, and domestic/private homes. This role is a combination of working as part of a team and working on your own.
This will be on a part time basis, with potentially overtime hours available. Temporary contract until the end of October, subject to the business this may extend or become permanent.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the team are working to exceptional standards at all times, and following our procedures
- Overseeing our laundry unit and ensuring the correct linen is ready for the relevant date
- Carrying out drops & pickups of cleaners, cleaning materials and equipment to sites
- Ensuring all cleaners have everything they need to carry out their work smoothly
- Provide training to new team members, and refresher training where required to current team members
- Ensure stock is always sufficiently maintained
- Administration tasks such as bookings and communication with customers
- Ensuring all equipment is maintained and clean
- Cleaning/housekeeping
- Action customer requests
- Ensure Health & Safety standards are always met
- Ensure maintenance issues in our properties are reported and directed to the relevant person
Candidate Requirements:
- UK Driving licence & own transport is essential
- Availability to work Fridays, Saturdays and some Sundays is an essential requirement
- A fantastic team player who works alongside their colleagues, but also the ability to work independently
- Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role would be preferred, but we are able to provide full training for those without experience that can demonstrate understanding of our cleaning standards
- A can do attitude and able to 100% commit all effort into our team and jobs
- Ability to remain calm under pressure - summer days can be very busy!
- You must be able to consistently provide exceptional standards of cleaning
- Reliability and a willingness to do a great job
- Attention to detail - the little touches in our properties make all of the difference!
- Friendly and confident with great people skills. You must be comfortable and confident in being customer facing, and with our team
