Are you experienced in modular joinery and looking for a full-time, permanent role?
Ideal Building Systems Ltd is expanding to meet a secured order book for the next 12 months. We are seeking Semi-Skilled and Skilled Modular Joiners with a strong background in joinery. You will play a key role in the construction and installation of modular buildings, including flat roofing systems. During peak periods, you may also assist with general joinery and carpentry tasks. This is a hands-on role within a supportive, safety-first environment.
Please note: This role involves manual handling and heavy lifting.
Duties
- Construction and installation of warm and cold deck flat roofs to high standards
- Installation of windows and doors
- Confident using hand tools, power tools, saws, and measuring instruments
- Accurately read and work from design drawings
- Maintain a strong eye for detail - especially in quality control
- Adhere to all site safety and wear appropriate PPE at all times
- Take on ad-hoc construction tasks during busy periods such as joinery/carpentry as needed
Requirements
- Proven experience in the modular construction industry, with a strong portfolio of completed projects
- Strong attention to detail
- Punctual, reliable, and self motivated with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and commitment to high quality workmanship.
- Familiarity with single ply and EPDM roofing materials - desirable
- Basic joinery/carpentry skills - desirable
