About the Role:

We are looking for a Community Operations Manager who can take ownership of our day to day operational activities. You will coordinate staff, volunteers, facilities and community programmes while ensuring that services are delivered efficiently, safely and consistently.
You will work closely with senior leadership, programme teams and external partners to improve operational processes and help the organisation provide reliable support to the local community.

Key Responsibilities:
Daily Operations Management:
Oversee the daily operations of the organisation, ensuring that services, facilities and administrative activities run smoothly.
Programme Coordination:
Support the planning and delivery of community programmes, events, outreach activities and support services.
Team Supervision:
Provide guidance and supervision to administrative staff, programme coordinators and volunteers. Monitor workloads and help maintain a positive working environment.
Process Improvement:
Review existing operational procedures and introduce practical improvements that increase efficiency, service quality and accountability.
Facilities Management:
Coordinate building access, maintenance, health and safety requirements, equipment and workplace supplies.
Budget Monitoring:
Assist with operational budgeting, expense tracking, supplier invoices and resource allocation.
Community Partnerships:
Maintain professional relationships with local organisations, service providers, community groups and external stakeholders.
Reporting:
Prepare regular operational reports, programme updates and performance summaries for senior management.
Compliance:
Ensure organisational activities follow internal policies, safeguarding requirements, health and safety standards and relevant regulations.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience:
At least 3 years of experience in operations, community services, charity administration, programme coordination or a similar role.
Leadership:
Previous experience supervising employees, volunteers or community programme teams.
Organisation:
Strong planning and time management skills, with the ability to manage several priorities and deadlines.
Communication:
Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
Problem Solving:
A practical approach to resolving operational issues and improving everyday processes.
Technology:
Comfortable using Microsoft Office, email, spreadsheets, shared calendars and basic reporting systems.
Community Focus:
A respectful and inclusive approach when working with people from different backgrounds.
Mindset:
You are dependable, organised and proactive. You can work independently while remaining supportive and collaborative with the wider team.
Pay: £3,300.00-£4,000.00 per month
