Thank you for your interest in Alder Grange and the role of Isolation & Cover Supervisor Role.
We are currently reviewing our pastoral structures, and are looking to appoint a Isolation & Cover Supervisors to join the AG+ team. AG+ is our pastoral team, led by Assistant Head Teacher Mrs Vanessa Holland.
The role is offered on a permanent basis, and we would welcome applications for both full and part time hours.
The key priorities of the role are to supervise the isolation room, provide pupil mentoring support (for example to looked after children and to support the admin of paperwork for meetings) and to provide class supervision during times of teacher absence.

This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro rata basis.
Essential Qualifications
- GCSE Maths and English - Grade 4 and above, Grade C equivalent.
- First Aid Qualification or willingness to study to acquire appropriate qualification

- Pastoral experience of working within a secondary school
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Ability to supervise and assist pupils within a classroom environment
- Time management and organisation skills
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- Ability to make effective use of ICT
- Flexible attitude to work
Desirable Experience
- Experience of working with or caring for children of relevant age
- Experience of working in a relevant classroom / service environment
- Experience of supporting pupils with challenging behaviour
- Experience of supporting pupils with special educational needs
