This temporary 3-month contract role involves managing a portfolio of temporary accommodation properties and supporting residents in maintaining their tenancies. The position is crucial for ensuring that accommodations are safe, compliant, and efficiently managed. The Housing Solutions Officer will work closely with residents and providers to facilitate successful transitions into permanent housing.

Property & Portfolio Management-
Oversee a portfolio of temporary accommodation placements.

Serve as the primary contact for residents and accommodation providers.

Ensure properties are managed efficiently and utilised effectively.

Resident Support

Assist residents in sustaining their accommodation.

Provide guidance on tenancy and licence agreements.

Address and resolve issues such as rent arrears, anti-social behaviour, and property condition concerns.

Compliance & Standards
-
Ensure compliance with tenancy and licence agreements.

Monitor property standards and meet health and safety requirements.

Coordinate property inspections and follow up on necessary actions.

Repairs & Maintenance

Report and monitor repairs.

Liaise with contractors and providers for timely resolutions.

Ensure properties remain safe and suitable for occupancy.

Partnership Working

Collaborate with accommodation providers to ensure contractual compliance.

Work with internal teams and external partners to support residents.

Contribute to effective housing pathways and move-on solutions.

Requirements:
Knowledge-
Understanding of housing, homelessness, or private rented sector (PRS) management.

Familiarity with tenancy/licence agreements and property standards.

Experience

Experience in housing, homelessness, or property management.

Experience supporting residents or tenants in a customer-facing role.
