Meet Structural Projects North West
Structural Projects North West is a growing structural alterations company delivering residential and commercial projects across Greater Manchester and the North West. Our work includes structural alterations, steel installations, load-bearing wall removals, chimney breast removals and larger commercial structural projects. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a talented Videographer / Content Creator to professionally document our projects and help showcase the quality of our work across social media.
The Role
This isn't a desk-based social media role. You'll regularly travel to our live residential and commercial sites to capture professional, engaging video content of our projects. You'll work with our team to identify the best opportunities for content, but we're looking for someone creative who can arrive on site and confidently take ownership of the shoot.
Content could include:
- Project walkthroughs
- Before, during and after transformations
- Steel installations
- Structural alterations and knock-throughs
- Commercial projects
- Time-lapses
- Behind-the-scenes footage
- Team and tradespeople at work
- Project Manager / Director talking to camera
- Customer testimonials
- Educational construction content
- Short-form social media videos
- Longer project case studies
The goal is to turn the work we're already completing every week into high-quality content that builds the SPNW brand.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience filming professional video content
- Understands how to create content specifically for social media
- Can shoot high-quality vertical 9:16 content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube Shorts
- Can also capture landscape footage where required
- Understands lighting, composition, audio and storytelling
- Can confidently work around active construction sites
- Can direct people who aren't naturally comfortable on camera
- Can spot content opportunities without needing to be told exactly what to film
- Is reliable and able to attend sites at agreed times
- Has their own professional or high-quality filming equipment
- Has their own transport and can travel between sites
Experience within construction, property, architecture or trades would be a major advantage, but isn't essential if you have a strong portfolio.
Editing
Ideally, you'll also be confident editing the footage you capture into professional social media content.
This could include:
- Reels and short-form videos
- Captions and subtitles
- Music and sound design
- Before-and-after edits
- Talking-head videos
- Project showcases
- Longer-form case study videos
We're particularly interested in someone who understands the difference between simply filming a job and turning that job into content people actually want to watch.
What We Can Offer
SPNW has multiple projects running across the North West, meaning there is the potential for consistent ongoing content work for the right person. You'll have access to real construction projects, transformations, commercial sites and structural installations that provide plenty of opportunities to build an impressive portfolio. As the company grows, there is also potential for the role and volume of work to grow with us.
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
