As we continue to grow, we’re now looking for an experienced and commercially driven Internal Sales Manager to lead our internal sales team and maximise performance across all conversion sales activity.
Role Overview
The Quality Control Administrator provides administrative support to the Quality Control department while developing the knowledge and skills required to assist with vehicle quality inspections. The role is responsible for ensuring quality documentation is completed accurately, vehicle records are maintained, and all administrative processes supporting the Quality department are completed efficiently. Working closely with the Quality Control Operative and Production teams, the Quality Control Administrator helps ensure vehicles progress through the inspection and handover process in a timely and organised manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Administration
- Complete all Quality Control documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Prepare and issue Stage 2 plates in accordance with company procedures.
- Photograph completed vehicles and upload images to customer and internal portals.
- Complete and maintain quality inspection paperwork and electronic records.
- Ensure all quality documentation is filed correctly and is available for audit and traceability purposes.
- Record defects, rework requirements and inspection outcomes accurately.
- Pass completed paperwork to the relevant departments to support the vehicle release process.
- Update company systems with vehicle quality and inspection information.
- Assist in maintaining document control within the Quality department.
Quality Control Support
- Support the Quality Control Operative with daily inspection activities.
- Assist in carrying out quality inspections under supervision as experience and competency develop.
- Learn company quality standards, inspection procedures and customer specifications.
- Verify that completed paperwork matches vehicle build documentation.
- Assist with identifying incomplete work or defects during inspections.
- Support vehicle sign-off activities by ensuring all documentation is complete before release.
- Develop knowledge of manufacturer requirements, build standards and company quality procedures.
Communication & Coordination
- Liaise daily with Production, Sales Administration, After Sales and other departments to ensure completed paperwork is processed efficiently.
- Communicate vehicle completion status to the relevant teams.
- Ensure documentation is available to support invoicing, registration and customer collection.
- Maintain effective working relationships across all departments.
Continuous Improvement
- Assist with identifying recurring documentation errors and administrative improvements.
- Support quality improvement initiatives within the department.
- Participate in training and development to build technical inspection knowledge and competency.
- Work towards becoming competent in vehicle quality inspection activities.
Health, Safety & Housekeeping
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures and safe working practices at all times
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area
- Adhere to company housekeeping standards and policies
Requirements:
- Previous administration experience within a manufacturing, engineering or automotive environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to read and interpret job cards, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Strong organisation and documentation skills
- Ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines.
- Willingness to learn vehicle inspection processes and quality standards.
- Positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively with production and office teams
