Job Overview
Seabank House Hotel is seeking a reliable, motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team for a six-week temporary position.
We offer a relaxed and friendly working environment while maintaining very high standards throughout the hotel. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has a strong eye for detail and understands the importance of consistently presenting guest rooms and public areas to an excellent standard.
You will play an important role in ensuring our guests arrive to clean, comfortable and beautifully presented rooms and enjoy the high standard of hospitality we expect at Seabank House.
Duties
- Clean and prepare guest bedrooms to a consistently high standard
- Change bed linen, make beds and replenish guest amenities
- Clean bathrooms thoroughly and ensure all areas are hygienic and well presented
- Vacuum, mop, dust and sanitise guest rooms and communal areas
- Ensure rooms are checked carefully and fully prepared for arriving guests
- Report maintenance issues, damage or anything requiring attention
- Follow appropriate cleaning and safety procedures
- Keep cleaning supplies and equipment organised and use them responsibly
- Assist with deep cleaning and additional housekeeping tasks when required
- Work alongside the wider Seabank House team to maintain standards throughout the hotel
Requirements
- Previous hotel or hospitality housekeeping experience is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
- Reliable, punctual and able to manage your workload efficiently
- Able to work independently and as part of a small team
- Positive and professional approach
- Comfortable with the physical requirements of housekeeping, including standing, bending and lifting throughout the shift
- Reliable transport or the ability to arrive on time for scheduled shifts

Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour
