Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Dance Teacher to join us at Stagecoach Chichester. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dance, excellent communication skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for inspiring students of all ages and skill levels. Duties
- Deliver engaging and well-structured dance classes across various styles suitable for different age groups and skill levels
- Develop customised lesson plans that cater to individual student needs and progressions
- Provide constructive feedback to students to encourage improvement and confidence
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment
- Organise and supervise rehearsals for performances or competitions when required
Requirements
- Proven experience in teaching dance, with proficiency in multiple styles preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students
- Relevant dance qualifications or certifications are desirable but not essential for passionate candidates willing to learn
- Ability to create an inclusive environment that encourages participation from students of all backgrounds
- Organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple classes or sessions effectively
- A positive attitude with excellent interpersonal skills
- Prior experience in working with children in a teaching capacity is advantageous
