Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes with precision, creativity, and consistency to meet quality standards.
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance on food production, food safety practices, and efficient workflow.
- Manage food inventory, order supplies as needed, and ensure proper storage to minimize waste.
- Oversee food safety protocols, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in accordance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to develop new menu items and improve existing recipes.
- Train new staff on food preparation techniques, serving procedures, and safety procedures.
- Ensure timely delivery of orders while maintaining high standards of presentation and taste.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a culinary or kitchen environment, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Supervising experience with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team effectively.
- Strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for maintaining hygiene standards.
- Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Experience in food production, restaurant operations, and serving guests is highly desirable.
