We're a small, busy and independent restaurant in the heart of Penwortham, and we're looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Sous Chef to join our kitchen team.
We're not a big chain restaurant, we are a local business where our team really matters. We pride ourselves on creating great food, providing excellent service and making Bread and Butter a genuinely great place to work.
About the Role
As Sous Chef, you'll work closely with our Head Chef and Proprietor, who is also an experienced Head Chef, and you will work with the wider kitchen team to help deliver consistently high-quality food in a busy restauarant environment.
You'll be someone who:
Has previous experience as a Sous Chef or in a senior chef role.
Is passionate about good food and hgh standards.
Can remain calm and organised during bust services.
Works well as part of a small supportive team.
Takes pride in cleanliness, food safety and kithn standards.
Is confident supporting and motivating other members of the kitchen team.
Is reliable, hardworking and has a positive attitude.
Availability
Weekend and evening availability is essential for this role, as these are some of our busiest service periods.
We're looking for someone who understands the demands of working in a busy independent restaurant and is happy to get stuck in and support the team when we need it most.
