We are looking for a part qualified/qualified by experience/recently qualified/graduate Management Accountant to join our team and gain hands-on experience in a live manufacturing environment. This is a practical role with real responsibility, giving you exposure to management reporting, forecasting, costing, cashflow and business performance analysis. The finance function at supports financial planning and reporting, accounting compliance, cashflow management and investment appraisals, so this role offers broad and meaningful experience from day one.
Duties
- Assisting with monthly management accounts and reporting packs
- Preparing variance analysis and performance reporting
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting activity
- Helping analyse margins, costs and profitability
- Assisting with cashflow reporting and wider finance processes
- Working with operational colleagues to improve the quality and usefulness of business information
- Supporting process improvement and better use of reporting tools and systems
Skills
- Studying or recently qualified in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics or a similar subject
- Strong numerically, analytical and comfortable working with data
- Confident using Excel and keen to develop reporting skills
- Organised, reliable and detail-focused
- Good communicators who can work across teams
- Keen to learn in a practical business environment and contribute from the outset
