Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic friendly and professional individuals to join our team as Front of House Casual Event Staff. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic environment, providing exceptional guest services at various events across Edinburgh and Scotland. The successful candidates will deliver a welcoming atmosphere, assist with catering and hospitality services, and ensure the smooth operation of events. Previous experience in hospitality or catering is advantageous, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued. All positions are paid, and provide flexible working hours suitable for those seeking casual employment. We utilise a rota app, with all shifts being opt in.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly and ensure a positive experience for our guests
- Serve food and beverages in accordance with food safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of service areas throughout the event
- Provide excellent guest services, addressing any enquiries or special requests promptly
- Support core team with set-up and breakdown of event spaces
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality, event catering, or restaurant environments is desirable but not essential
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and during event timings as needed
- A positive attitude, team spirit, and eagerness to learn new skills
