Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Production Operative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in the manufacturing process, ensuring that our pet food products meet strict quality standards and safety regulations. Your proactive approach will help us deliver exceptional products to our clients’ pets while maintaining a safe and efficient production environment.
Duties
- Operate production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently to produce high-quality pet food.
- Assist with the preparation and packaging of raw ingredients according to specified procedures.
- Follow strict food safety protocols, including HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) guidelines, to ensure product integrity.
- Conduct routine quality checks throughout the production process, recording observations accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all areas of the production facility.
- Support inventory management by accurately measuring ingredients using basic math skills.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot mechanical issues and ensure smooth operations.
- Driving. You may be required to drive for the company so a full UK driving license is essential and you must be over 25 to drive on the insurance.
