Recruitment Consultant Apprentice - Sales and Business Development Focused Level 4 (15 months)

Salary: £22,000 + commission after your probation period
Working hours: 7 a.m. - 4 p.m. Mon-Fri (1 hour lunch) - reduced hours during school holidays
Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Recruitment Consultant Apprentice to join our friendly and supportive team. This apprenticeship offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in sales and business development. The role involves engaging with clients and candidates, generating leads, and supporting the recruitment process using a variety of industry-standard tools and systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and an interest in building a career in recruitment and sales.
Responsibilities
- Interviewing candidates to understand their skills, experience, and job preferences
- Advertising job vacancies on job boards and social media
- Searching for and contacting potential clients over the phone to drive sales
- Matching candidates to suitable job roles
- Arranging and booking interviews between candidates and clients
- Supporting candidates through the recruitment process
- Communicating with clients to understand their hiring needs over the phone / Teams meetings / Face-to-face meetings
- Updating candidate and client records on databases/CRM systems
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with candidates and employers
- Chasing feedback after interviews and keeping everyone updated
- Meeting targets for calls, interviews, and placements
***Driving License and own vehicle is required***
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships
- Good organisation and time management
- Bubbly and friendly personality
- Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail, especially with compliance and documentation
- Team player with a proactive attitude
- Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
- Previous experience in call centres, sales or recruitment
