We are looking for a responsible Assistant to support our business needs. The successful candidate will be able to perform a variety of tasks and work closely with the care team to accomplish assigned goals.
Responsibilities
To provide activities and entertainment for the residents of the home, to include arts and crafts, meaningful activities, music therapy etc
Initiate and co-ordinate diversional therapy to promote a mentally and physically active lifestyle or the individuals’ resident at Cholwell House.
Promote and organise fund raising for the Activities Budget.
Create and maintain a fun activities programme that will maintain interest and progress over a period of time. Including organising external entertainers to come to the home for performances using the Activities Budget.
Apply the ethos of person-centred care.
Endeavour to meet the holistic needs of both the residents as a group, and individually.
Cultivate external links through community involvement.
Monitor activity to ensure it meets the needs of the residents.
Compliance with company policies and procedures.
Skills Required
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize daily assignments
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £13.00-£13.50 per hour
