Cvicare Ltd is a trusted home care provider delivering high-quality, person-centred care to clients across London. We're growing our team and looking for an experienced, motivated Field Supervisor to help us maintain the highest standards of care delivery across Barnet and the surrounding areas.
The Role
As Field Supervisor, you'll be the vital link between our care staff, clients, and the office team ensuring care is delivered safely, consistently, and to a high standard. You'll spend much of your time out in the field, supporting carers, meeting clients, and driving quality across every visit.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out regular spot-checks and observations of care workers in clients' homes to ensure compliance with care plans and CQC standards
- Conduct client reviews and initial assessments, updating care plans as needs change
- Provide hands-on support, coaching, and supervision to field care staff
- Respond to and resolve issues raised by clients, families, or staff quickly and professionally
- Support onboarding and shadowing for new care workers
- Complete accurate documentation, incident reports, and risk assessments
- Participate in the on-call rota to support out-of-hours queries and emergencies
- Support the recruitment and retention of care staff by identifying training needs and gaps in coverage
- Ensure all visits are appropriately staffed and cover is arranged for absences
What We're Looking For
- Minimum NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care (Level 5 or working towards it desirable)
- Proven experience in a supervisory or senior care worker role within domiciliary or community care
- Strong understanding of CQC regulations and safeguarding procedures
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential — role covers Barnet and surrounding areas)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently, use initiative, and manage a varied workload
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
