Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Gas Engineer/Plumber to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Install, inspect, repair, and maintain gas appliances and plumbing systems in accordance with safety standards and regulations
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry techniques to complete installations and repairs efficiently
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues with gas lines, boilers, water heaters, and related fixtures
- Perform heavy lifting of equipment and materials safely during installation or maintenance tasks
- Assemble piping systems, fixtures, and appliances with precision to ensure optimal functionality
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and safety checks completed
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot mechanical problems and develop effective solutions
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Gas Engineer or Plumber with knowledge of plumbing codes and safety regulations
- Use of hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to gas systems, water supply networks, and heating appliances
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various work environments
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting tasks
- Valid commercial driving license preferred for transportation between job sites
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to maintenance and repairs
