Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Prepare a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, following established recipes and standards
- Serve food items with promptness and courtesy, ensuring presentation meets quality expectations
- Maintain food safety standards by adhering to proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
- Manage cash register operations with basic math skills to handle transactions efficiently
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and stocked throughout your shift to ensure smooth operations
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks as needed
- Manage time effectively to serve customers quickly during busy periods while maintaining quality service
Skills
- Knowledge of food safety practices and commitment to maintaining hygiene standards
- Previous barista experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for all new team members
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment with a friendly attitude
- Ability to perform food preparation tasks accurately and efficiently
- Strong basic math skills for handling cash transactions and measuring ingredients
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
- Positive attitude with excellent communication skills to create welcoming interactions with guests
