Purpose of the role
Brook is looking for a compassionate, proactive Clinical Support Worker to join our sexual health service. This varied role combines hands-on clinical support, administration and community outreach, with a strong focus on creating safe, welcoming and non-judgemental services for young people.
You will work alongside nurses, doctors and other professionals to support patients in clinics, over the telephone, through digital pathways and in community settings. Whether you are helping a young person access testing, providing condoms and practical information, supporting a clinical procedure or taking part in outreach activities, you will help ensure every interaction is respectful, inclusive and centred on the individual's needs.
Essential criteria
Experience of working with the public in a customer service or public-facing role
The ability to work independently, use your initiative and contribute effectively to a multidisciplinary team
Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills, including the ability to engage people with different backgrounds, needs and communication styles
A calm, thoughtful approach to challenging situations.

- Hours: Full-Time 37.5 Hours per week
(Upon completing your probationary period, you will be eligible to join the 4 Day Week program, which allows you to work 20% fewer hours without a decrease in salary)
