Sports Therapist: Active Motion Injury Clinic, Eastleigh
Full-time, 37.5 hours/week (Part-time available for the right person) · £26,000–£30,000 per annum, dependent on experience · Includes some evenings, daytimes and Saturday mornings. Location: Eastleigh, SO50 9NL
About Us – Active Motion:
We are a sports therapy clinic that has been established for more than 5 years in Eastleigh and 2 years in Portsmouth. We currently employ 3 people at our 2 clinics across Hampshire.
We have experienced growth despite the market challenges and this has happened because of the incredible team and culture that has been created at Active Motion by the staff - most of whom have been with us for over 4 years and have allowed us to create a place that staff love to come to work to learn and grow – and a place that our patients look forward to coming back to time and time again.
The Role
You'll deliver hands-on assessment, treatment and rehabilitation to patients referred through free advice sessions, giving them the time and clinical freedom that NHS or high-volume settings don't allow. Core responsibilities:
- Assess patients and agree a clear, evidence-based treatment and rehabilitation plan.
- Deliver hands-on manual therapy and rehab, not just advice
- Explain treatment plans clearly enough that patients can make an informed decision, including cost.
- Support patients through a full plan of care to discharge, spotting and addressing disengagement early.
- Keep clinical notes, tagging and referral-source records complete and accurate.
- Contribute to the in-house CPD programme and ongoing service improvement.
Essential Requirements
- Degree in Sports Therapy (BSc or MSc).
- Registered with the Society of Sports Therapists (SST).
- Professional Liability Insurance (PLI) and Indemnity Insurance
- Fluent English speaker. No visa sponsorship available.
- Private practice experience preferred but not required, newly qualified and recent graduates are welcome.
