Part-Time Delivery Driver / Warehouse Assistant
Location: Barrow-in-Furness
Pay: £13.00 per hour
Hours: 15–18 hours per week (typically Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 9:00am–2:00pm)
About the Role
Furness Tiles is looking for a reliable, friendly and hardworking person to join our team as a Part-Time Delivery Driver / Warehouse Assistant.
This is a varied role where you'll be delivering tiles, bathrooms and related products to customers across Cumbria and the surrounding areas. When you're not out on deliveries, you'll be helping to keep our warehouse organised and supporting the day-to-day operation.
We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being active and has a positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver customer orders safely and professionally.
- Load and unload the delivery van.
- Check deliveries before leaving the warehouse.
- Assist with receiving and organising stock.
- Keep the warehouse clean, tidy and well organised.
- Help prepare customer orders for collection and delivery.
- Provide excellent customer service at all times.
What We're Looking For
- Full UK driving licence.
- Reliable, punctual and trustworthy.
- Good level of physical fitness, as the role involves lifting and carrying heavy products.
- Friendly and professional with customers.
- Able to work independently and as part of a small team.
- Previous delivery or warehouse experience is an advantage but not essential, as full training will be provided.
