Job Opportunity – Workshop Engineer required at our Bristol depot.
Working hours 7 am - 4.30 pm
Broughton Plant Hire & Sales is looking to recruit a full-time permanent person to work in our workshop to help service and maintain tool hire equipment like press fitting, Ridgid Threading machines, drills and grinders.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Ensure hire fleet is maintained and repaired to ensure hire equipment is fit for purpose and available for hire
- Carrying out Pre and Post delivery inspections
- Identify and document any faults or defects found during testing
- Maintain accurate records of all testing activities
- Work within the Health & Safety policy of the company to ensure safe working practices
Key job requirements
- Experience in small tools repairs
- Plant Hire experience desired but not essential
- Hard working and physically fit due to the nature of the equipment
- Ability to work as part of a team
- A can-do attitude with strong work ethic
- Hard working, punctual, flexible and self motivated.
