Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the warehouse operates efficiently, products are prepared accurately for delivery, and stock is handled safely and professionally. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys physical work and takes pride in maintaining high standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Organise and maintain a clean, safe and efficient warehouse environment.
- Pick, check and prepare beds, mattresses and furniture items for next-day deliveries.
- Load and unload company delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Receive, inspect and unload incoming supplier deliveries.
- Check incoming goods against delivery documentation and report any discrepancies.
- Ensure products are stored correctly and warehouse locations are accurately maintained.
- Assist with stock counts, inventory management and stock accuracy.
- Safely handle mattresses, beds and furniture in accordance with company procedures and manual handling guidelines.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping throughout the warehouse.
- Follow all company health and safety procedures and report any hazards or incidents.
- Work closely with colleagues across the warehouse and delivery teams to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
Skills & Experience
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to undertake manual handling and heavy lifting.
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Forklift licence desirable but not essential.

Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm, with occasional overtime as required to support business needs.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Pay: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
