Bowburn Hall Hotel are recruiting for an experienced Gardener to come and join our team.
Nestled in Bowburn just 4 miles from the historic city of Durham, Bowburn Hall Hotel offers 20 beautifully individually designed rooms and 5 garden lodges, all providing the ultimate in comfort and luxury.
Set in stunning landscaped gardens, our aim is to continually develop the grounds of the hotel so that we provided a setting that wows and delights our guests.
As the successful Gardener you will play a vital role in ensuring our hotel grounds i look first class every day. You will ensure the estate and gardens are maintained to the highest standard and will combine your day-day horticulture skills, knowledge & experience, alongside your creative and design skills.
The role will involve the planting and maintenance of trees, shrubs & herbaceous plants, ground cover, bedding, hedge cutting, strimming, leaf blowing, pruning and mowing. You will also operate garden equipment and/or machinery such as leaf blowers, pedestrian mowers and strimmers and be responsible for the general maintenance of the grounds.
We are looking for an experienced commercial gardener who has previous recent experience of working in a similar role, has a passion for gardening and will enjoy this very unique opportunity to work at a truly beautiful hotel and become part of our exciting journey.
