Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our friendly, independent family-run garage in Bellingham.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technician who enjoys working on a wide variety of vehicles, takes pride in completing work to a high standard, and wants to be part of a supportive team where quality workmanship is valued over rushing jobs through the workshop.
About the Role
You'll be carrying out a varied workload including:
- Vehicle servicing and repairs
- Diagnostics and fault finding
- Timing belt and timing chain replacement
- Engine repairs and rebuilds
- MOT preparation and repairs
- EV and hybrid vehicle maintenance
- MOT testing (preferred but not essential)
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a reliable, experienced technician who:
- Level 3 NVQ in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)
- Has previous experience working within an repair garage
- Has a full UK driving licence
- Can work confidently on a range of makes and models
- Takes ownership of their work and maintains high standards
- Has strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Works well as part of a small team
- Is organised, dependable and professional
- Holds an MOT Tester qualification (desirable but not essential)
