Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager for Domiciliary Care to oversee the delivery of high-quality home care services. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing care staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and maintaining excellent service standards within a care home environment specialising in assisted living, dementia care, and senior care. Duties
- Lead and supervise a team of care staff, ensuring the delivery of person-centred care tailored to individual needs.
- Develop, implement, and review personalised care plans, including medication administration and specialised dementia or Alzheimer’s care.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and organisational policies relating to domiciliary and residential care.
- Conduct regular audits and quality assurance checks to maintain high standards of care provision.
- Manage staff rotas, recruitment, training programmes, and performance appraisals to foster a motivated and professional team.
- Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to coordinate effective care delivery.
- Oversee safeguarding procedures and ensure the safety and dignity of all service users.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records in accordance with CQC (Care Quality Commission) requirements.
Skills
- Proven management experience within a care home or domiciliary setting, ideally with senior or supervisory roles.
- Extensive knowledge of assisted living, nursing home practices, dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, and medication administration.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent organisational skills with experience in managing care plans and compliance documentation.
- Compassionate approach with a genuine commitment to enhancing the quality of life for older adults and individuals requiring specialised support such as dementia or Alzheimer’s disease.
- Good communication skills to liaise effectively with clients’ families, healthcare professionals, and team members.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations governing home care services in the UK. Pay: £29,660.64-£45,516.84 per year
