Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a strong understanding of bartending principles. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while preparing and serving beverages in a fast-paced environment. Your ability to manage time effectively.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
- Engage with customers, providing friendly service while taking drink orders and offering recommendations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper change is given and maintaining a balanced cash register.
- Monitor customer behaviour and ensure responsible serving practices are followed.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and notifying management of any shortages.
- Uphold safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred but not essential.
- Strong knowledge of basic maths for handling transactions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during busy periods.
- A friendly, outgoing personality with a genuine desire to help customers have an enjoyable experience.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
