Are you an experienced MEP Quality Manager, Mechanical Quality Manager or QA/QC Manager with a background in mechanical building services?
This is an opportunity to take ownership of quality across a portfolio of major commercial, hospitality and residential projects in London, working for an established mechanical services contractor.
You'll work closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors and clients to improve installation standards, reduce rework and ensure projects are delivered right first time.
The Role
As MEP Quality Manager, you'll lead QA/QC activities across multiple live mechanical projects, overseeing quality from installation and inspection through to testing, commissioning and handover.
This is a hands-on quality role where you'll have the authority to challenge standards, identify improvements and work with project teams to resolve issues before they impact delivery.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Implementing and maintaining QA/QC procedures across mechanical building services projects
- Carrying out and overseeing site inspections, audits and quality surveillance
- Monitoring mechanical installation quality and driving right-first-time delivery
- Managing NCRs, corrective actions and quality investigations
- Reviewing quality documentation, inspection records and testing information
- Working with project managers, engineers and subcontractors to resolve quality issues
- Supporting ISO 9001 processes and the wider Quality Management System
- Reviewing project readiness for testing and commissioning
- Supporting project handover and close-out
- Identifying recurring quality issues and implementing continuous improvement
- Acting as a key quality contact for clients and project stakeholders
About You
We're interested in speaking with experienced quality professionals from a mechanical building services, MEP or construction background.
You'll ideally have:
- Strong experience within mechanical building services / MEP construction
- Previous experience as an MEP Quality Manager, Mechanical Quality Manager, QA/QC Manager, Quality Engineer or similar
- Good knowledge of mechanical installations including HVAC, heating, plumbing, ventilation and associated building services
- Experience implementing and managing QA/QC procedures
- Experience with site inspections, audits and NCR management
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and Quality Management Systems
- Experience supporting testing, commissioning and project handover
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- The confidence to challenge poor standards while working collaboratively with site and project teams
Candidates who started their career from a mechanical trade or engineering background before progressing into QA/QC or quality management are also strongly encouraged to apply.

You'll be joining an established mechanical services contractor that has been operating for approximately 20 years.
The business delivers mechanical installations across commercial, hospitality and residential projects, with expertise covering heating, plumbing, air conditioning, ventilation and BMS.
You'll have exposure to a varied portfolio of projects and major blue-chip clients, including organisations such as Microsoft, BT and Center Parcs.
