The Role
This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same. The successful candidate will divide their time between the office, warehouse and customer sites throughout the UK.
The position combines office administration, customer order processing and on-site installation work. You will be responsible for creating customer quotations, processing orders, coordinating projects and supporting the delivery and installation of curtains, blinds and accessories for care homes across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Creating customer quotations and processing customer orders.
- Providing administrative support and maintaining accurate customer records.
- Liaising with customers and suppliers to ensure projects run smoothly.
- Assisting with general office duties and supporting the operations team.
- Preparing customer orders for dispatch and assisting with general warehouse duties when required.
- Delivering curtains, blinds, soft furnishings and accessories to customer sites throughout the UK.
- Assisting with the installation of curtains, blinds and soft furnishings.
- Delivering large accessory orders to care homes and dressing bedrooms and communal areas in accordance with customer specifications, creating warm and welcoming environments for residents.
- Working closely with colleagues to complete installations efficiently and professionally.
- Providing excellent customer service and representing Frank Beirne Fabrics professionally at all times.
- Following Health & Safety procedures both on-site and within the warehouse.
About You

- Has excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Is comfortable creating quotations and processing customer orders.
- Enjoys practical, hands-on work and takes pride in delivering high standards.
- Has a keen eye for detail and presentation.
- Is flexible, adaptable and willing to travel throughout the UK.
- Is happy to work away from home when required.
- Can work independently as well as part of a team.
- Is reliable, punctual and eager to learn new skills.
Essential Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Physically capable of carrying out manual handling duties.
- Professional and friendly manner when working with customers.
Desirable Skills
- Experience in office administration.
- Experience creating quotations and processing orders.
- Experience in warehousing or logistics.
- Customer service experience.
- Experience within interiors, soft furnishings, retail merchandising or care environments.
Working Away
The role includes regular travel throughout the UK and occasional overnight stays.
When working away, you will be responsible for delivering large accessory orders to care homes and transforming bedrooms and communal areas by dressing them with decorative accessories, ensuring every room is completed to a high standard and ready for residents.
A company vehicle will be provided for all work-related travel when working away from the office.
