We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant General Manager to support the overall operation of our hospitality establishment. Responsibilities
- Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operational activities to ensure smooth functioning of the establishment
- Support staff management, including scheduling, training, and performance monitoring
- Ensure high standards of guest services are maintained at all times, addressing any issues promptly and professionally
- Coordinate with departments such as housekeeping, food & beverage, and front desk to optimise service delivery
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency
- Support financial management tasks including budgeting, inventory control, and sales reporting
- Lead by example in delivering excellent guest experiences, fostering a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors
- Assist in organising events and special functions to maximise guest satisfaction and revenue
Skills
- Proven management experience within the hospitality industry or similar service-oriented environment
- Strong understanding of guest services principles and best practices
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to lead teams and interact with guests confidently
- Ability to problem-solve quickly and adapt to changing circumstances with professionalism
- Leadership qualities with a proactive approach to team development and motivation
- Knowledge of health & safety regulations relevant to hospitality operations
