£65,000+ - Yearly Bonus + Hybrid Working: Depending on experience. This is a key position within our business; we are looking for the right individual to help develop communication and engagement strategies within some of our key defence and government programmes.

Previous consultancy experience in a similar role
Experience delivering for Defence Sector, i.e. DE&S and Defence Digital
Experience delivering in Central Government, i.e. Home Office, HMRC and DEFRA
Support Capability Leads with all communications and engagements across a diverse stakeholder groups
Develop Communication and Engagement Strategies & Plans
Build on existing communications and engagement strategies & plans to provide further detail directly related to the key stakeholder groups
Develop and consistently articulate the programme’s core narrative, key messages, benefits and outcomes
Ensure all messaging is consistent, positive, and reinforces the strategic importance of the programme
Map and analyse key stakeholder groups to tailor communication approaches and content
Develop clear and compelling communications materials
Translate complex technical concepts into easily digestible and engaging messages for diverse stakeholder audiences
Manage and maintain communication channels specific to the programme
Plan and execute a range of engagement activities, such as town halls, workshops, roadshows, etc.
Support the creation of training and enablement materials in conjunction with technical leads and 3rd party supplier
Facilitate two-way communication channels to encourage feedback
Define metrics for communication effectiveness and engagement
Monitor, measure, and report on the impact of communication activities
Skills and Experience:
Proven experience in a dedicated communications and engagement role, ideally in Defence environment
Demonstrable experience of Cloud technologies / Cloud adoption activities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly, concisely, and manage engagements with a divers set of stakeholders
The suitable candidate will need National Security Vetting (NSV) security clearance. They will, preferably, already hold NSV to a high or very high standard, but must be able, and willing, to achieve it
Role Location:
Our consultants are expected to work in a hybrid environment, in accordance with our clients requirements. We require our people to be within an easily commutable distance of our Bristol office, and to be able to co-locate at our client locations, which are typically 50 miles of Bristol or along the M4/M5 corridor. New clients are always coming on board, and we require our consultants to be able to work flexibly and wherever this work requires.
