We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our golf course greens team as a Qualified Greenkeeper or a Greenkeeper with a interest in training as a Mechanic.
This is an excellent opportunity to become a key part of a small team of enthusiastic greenkeepers , maintaining both the golf course and the machinery essential to its presentation and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance and preparation of the golf course to a high standard.
- Servicing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of machinery and equipment.
- Diagnosing mechanical faults and carrying out repairs efficiently.
- Assist with daily course maintenance tasks as required.
- Ensure all machinery is maintained in a safe and operational condition.
The Ideal Candidate
It is imperative that you understand the importance of good time-keeping and punctuality within the role.
Essential:
- Experience working as a Greenkeeper.
- Good understanding of golf course maintenance.
- Having a strong work ethic, firm desire to learn, being a flexible well-motivated team player.
- NVQ Level 2 or above in sports turf care.
- All applicants must have the right to work in the UK prior to commencing employment. We are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role.
Desirable:
- Mechnical Experience/Interest.
Full support and training to achieve mechnical qualification will be provided for the right candidate.
