Overview
We are seeking a Machine Operator to hand link our socks. This role requires applicants who are organised, reliable, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment. Candidates should have excellent attention to detail, take pride in producing work to a high standard, and be motivated to achieve production targets. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team is essential, along with a strong commitment to quality and workplace safety. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Operate sock linking machinery efficiently and safely, adhering to production schedules.
- Ensure all products meet our high-quality standards.(Inspect finished socks for any defects or imperfections)
- Meet daily production targets while maintaining excellent quality.
- Set up equipment. Monitor machine performance, making adjustments if necessary to maintain quality standards.
- Handle materials and tooling with care, ensuring proper storage and organisation.
- Document production data accurately and report any irregularities or faults to supervisors.
- Follow safety protocols at all times, maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
- Work effectively as part of a team
