Range Logistics is looking for a Transport Manager to assist in managing its fleet of 18 x HGV's. The role will include but not limited to:
- Ensuring that all drivers and vehicles meet EU & UK regulatory compliance
- Keeping schedules and ensuring drivers' legal compliance
- Ensure vehicles are scheduled and attend PMI's and services.
- Maintaining and completing accurate records
- Making sure vehicles are properly maintained
- Inspecting vehicles
- Arranging repairs and routine maintenance
- Ensuring that all drivers and operators have the correct, up to date qualifications
- Reducing the risk of vehicle overloading
- Making sure the department meets its targets

The Successful Applicant
- Previous experience as a Transport Manager (2 years minimum)
- Must have a valid CPC Transport Manager License
- Must have valid C+E license
- Organised and diligent with compliance
- Previous experience of managing and leading a startup team
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Hands-on and proactive approach with a positive "can do" attitude and team player
What's on Offer
- Minimum 6 months contract with potential to be extended to a year
- Minimum 20hrs work week with pay starting from £1550.00 per month (negotiable depending on experience)
