A PRESTIGE CAR DEALERSHIP BASED IN HEYWOOD LANCASHIRE, HAVE A EXCITING POSITION AVAILABLE FOR A FULL TIME VEHICLE BODY SPRAYER.THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL EARN A STARTING SALARY FROM £30,000 TO £40,000 PER YEAR DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE. THIS IS A EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITY TO JOIN AN EXISTING TEAM OF HIGHLY QUALIFIED TECHNICIANS. We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Paint Sprayer to join our professional team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying high-quality paint finishes to vehicles, ensuring a smooth and flawless appearance. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work efficiently within a busy workshop environment. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for automotive refinishing and a commitment to craftsmanship.
Duties
- Prepare vehicles for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking areas as required
- Mix paints and primers to specified colours and formulations
- Operate spray guns and other power tools to apply paint coatings evenly and precisely
- Ensure all surfaces are painted according to quality standards and safety regulations
- Perform minor repairs or touch-ups as necessary to achieve desired finish
- Maintain equipment, including cleaning spray guns and tools after use
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times, including the use of protective gear
- Assist with vehicle assembly and disassembly during the painting process when needed
Experience
- Proven experience in vehicle painting or automotive refinishing is a must.
- Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for understanding equipment operation and maintenance
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and spray equipment is beneficial
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling vehicles or materials
- Prior experience working in a workshop environment with attention to detail is preferred
