This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional and well presented Night Manager to join a beautiful hotel estate in Leicestershire, set within acres of peaceful grounds. The property offers stylish bedrooms, quality dining, exceptional service, a range of guest experiences, creating a memorable destination for both leisure and event guests.
As Night Manager, you will take responsibility for the smooth running of the hotel during the night shift, ensuring guests receive a warm, safe and professional experience throughout their stay. You will oversee Front Office activity, support night team members, complete the night audit and act as the manager on duty when senior managers are not present.
This role would suit someone with strong hotel Front Office or Night Management experience who is calm, organised and confident handling guest enquiries, complaints, late arrivals, VIP requests, safety procedures and overnight operational duties. You will need excellent communication skills, a high standard of English and a polished, professional appearance.
This role does not provide accommodation, so you must be able to reliably commute or relocate to the area.

Night Manager Ideal Profile:

Previous experience as a Night Manager, Assistant Night Manager, Night Supervisor or Front Office Supervisor within a hotel environment

Excellent standard of spoken and written English

Very well presented with a professional and service focused approach

Confident acting as manager on duty and handling guest issues calmly

Strong understanding of Front Office operations, guest service and night audit procedures

Able to lead, support and train overnight team members

Good communication skills with the ability to work closely with Housekeeping and other departments

Calm, reliable and confident working independently during night shifts

Strong awareness of guest safety, security and fire procedures
Night Manager Responsibilities:

Direct and oversee hotel operations during the night shift, ensuring guest satisfaction and safety

Manage and monitor Front Office employees, supporting standards, training, coaching and performance

Conduct night briefings and communicate arrivals, VIP guests, special requests and repeat guest information

Welcome guests professionally, assist with luggage, valet parking and guest requests where required

Act as manager on duty, dealing with complaints, disturbances, problem solving and overnight operational issues

Complete the daily night audit accurately and on time, including full night audit duties when required

Oversee daily reports, financial controls, operating expenses, scheduling and purchasing support

Ensure public areas are clean, tidy and well presented throughout the night

Work closely with Housekeeping and other departments to support guest service and smooth communication

Follow and enforce fire, life safety, security and emergency procedures, reporting any suspicious activity or hazards

Support team member performance through supervision, training, recognition and clear nightly task allocation
