As our business continues to grow, we are looking to appoint a labourer and Playground Installer to join our team. The successful candidate will work alongside our team in installing and maintaining playground equipment across the country from Monday - Friday.
The job holder will do all tasks within his/her level of skill and ability. This will include travelling around the country, staying out 3-4 nights per week every week ensuring all installations are completed within set time scales. You will be communicating with customers and the office throughout the installation. You will need to organise the site to ensure it is efficient and safe for staff and children. As you will be working in close proximity to children a valid DBS check is essential.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Organise the site ensuring it is safe for yourself and the customer
- Work to strict deadlines to ensure jobs are completed as planned
- Liaise with customers to arrange ETAs and site access information
- Use of a variety of power tools
- Ensure the highest levels of customer service are provided at all times, maximising the customer experience
- Loading & unloading of company vehicle at the beginning & end of each week
- Undertake work related training courses as required
- Staying away 4 nights per week – accommodation is booked for you, and you will receive subsistence payments
