About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team and provide high-quality clinical services within our travel and vaccination clinic in Bradford.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing travel health consultations, travel vaccinations and phlebotomy services, ensuring every patient receives a safe, professional and welcoming experience.
This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse with an interest in travel health, preventative healthcare and vaccination services to join a growing private healthcare provider.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct professional and comprehensive travel health consultations.
- Assess patients' travel health requirements based on their destination, itinerary and individual medical history.
- Administer a range of travel vaccinations in accordance with current UK guidance and relevant clinical protocols.
- Provide advice on travel-related health risks, including malaria prevention and other appropriate preventative measures.
- Provide routine and occupational vaccinations as required.
- Undertake venepuncture and blood sample collection safely and professionally.
- Complete accurate clinical documentation and maintain clear patient records.
- Ensure all clinical procedures are carried out in line with relevant policies, procedures and professional standards.
- Maintain high standards of infection prevention and control.
- Safely manage vaccines, including appropriate cold-chain procedures and stock management.
- Recognise and respond appropriately to adverse reactions and clinical emergencies.
- Provide excellent patient care and customer service.
- Maintain professional knowledge and undertake relevant training and continuing professional development.
Essential Requirements
- Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration.
- Current experience in administering vaccinations.
- Competent and confident in venepuncture and blood draws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small clinical team.
- Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
- Commitment to delivering safe, patient-centred care.
- Professional, friendly and approachable manner.
- Travel health and travel vaccination experience.
- Travel Health Nurse qualification or relevant travel health training.
- Experience working within a travel clinic, occupational health or private healthcare setting.
- Experience with Yellow Fever vaccination and certification.
- Experience providing malaria prevention advice.
- Additional vaccination qualifications or training.

- Travel Vaccination: 1 year (preferred)
